Obituary
Ronald Kalin of Arnold, Nebraska died Friday, October 23, 2009, at the age of 74.
Ron was born June 20, 1936 in Orange, California to Lloyd and Margaret Kalin. He was raised in Lompoc, later moving to Westmoreland and attended Brawley High School. He worked various vocations throughout the American Southwest, and retired in Arnold, Nebraska. A lifelong student, he enjoyed extensive reading and maintaining his large vegetable garden.
Ron is survived by his wife of 53 years Mary Kalin of Arnold Nebraska, his mother Margaret Kalin of Buellton, his sisters Pat Crawford of Yuba City and Phyllis Claudio of Lompoc, his children Dan Kalin of Sterling VA, Jeanne Kalin of Austin TX, and Rex Kalin of Ontario CA, as well as 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The visitation will be on Thursday, October 29 from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday, October 30 in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary with internment at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery to follow.
