Ronald Anthony Regalado also known as "Coach Ron or Rhino" was born in Los Angeles California 1963.

He was the fifth of six children to Ruben and Ella Regalado.

Ronald grew up in Los Angeles and attended La Puente High School where he was an avid football player and wrestler. It was during this time that he discovered his passion and love for coaching sports and began by coaching his younger brother's baseball team.

Ronald worked at UCSB where he maintained ties to the local little league teams. He always took tremendous pride in the children he coached to include his own daughter and would spend many years mentoring and coaching football, baseball and softball. He would often drive from Lompoc to Carpinteria and places in between to ensure children got to participate in sports and the impact it had in shaping their lives.

Ronald is survived by his two sisters and brother Rebecca Fogg, Roseanne Cerna, and Randolph Regalado and two children Christopher Regalado and Tera Mueller (Regalado) as well as four grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from noon to 2 pm on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, funeral service immediately following at 2 pm.
