Rosalie King

October 30, 1941 – August 8, 2024

Rosalie King, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8th, 2024, at the age of 82.

Rosalie was the heart and soul of her family.  She exemplified the finest qualities of a mother and human being:  unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity that touched everyone around her.  Her care for her family and friends was a testament to her character, and she will be remembered as an extraordinary woman who gave selflessly.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years Gary King, her son, Jon King(Rebecca); daughter, Karen King; her cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Scott, Amy, & Lauren.  Rosalie also leaves behind her sisters Carla (Robert) Johns, and Sharon (Russ) Johnson, along with her beloved nieces, nephews, and her "adopted family."

Rosalie was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Lompoc Alpha Club, where she forged lasting friendships and contributed to her community.  Although she will be dearly missed by all who knew her, Rosalie's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.  In accordance with Rosalie's wishes, no services will be held.
