Obituary
Rosalie J. Skelton of Lompoc died at her home on Monday, October 27, 2008, at the age of 70.
She was born June 15, 1938 in Hannibal, New York. She was raised and educated in Fulton, New York.
Formerly of Rapid City, South Dakota, Rosalie has been a resident of Lompoc since 1972. She worked on Vandenberg Air Force Base in the N.C.O Club and in the Package Store. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Topeka, Kansas. She loved gardening and cooking.
In recent years Rosalie made amazing comebacks from numerous health challenges including Lymphoma.
Rosalie is survived by her daughter Kelly Diefert of Coupeville, Washington, her sisters Beverly Shue of Fulton, New York and Pauline Blake of Oswego, New York, and her two best friends, Jack and Rocky.
There will be a memorial gathering on Sunday, November 2, 2008, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 604 East Ocean Avenue, Lompoc, CA 93436.
