Rose Carmen Guerra, 99, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2011. Rose was born in Lompoc on July 16, 1911 to Luigi and Caterina Barbieri. She married Peter Guerra and they had two daughters.

Rose attended La Purisima Catholic Church and was a member of the Sons of Italy Lodge and the Lompoc Grange. She loved spending time with her family, and also enjoyed cooking, gardening and crocheting.

Preceding Rose in death was her husband Peter, siblings; Theresa Cancilla, Ida Grossi, John Barbieri and Richard Barbieri, her grandson, Les Bondietti Jr., and great grandson Peter Dalbey. She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Bondietti and Jean Dalcerri, grandchildren; Teresa Dyer, Lisa Bondietti, Frank Dalcerri and Cathy Dalbey, four great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Pavilion at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. Msgr. Rev. Fitzgerald of the Queen of Angels Catholic Church will officiate. Arrangements are in the care of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. www.starbucklind.com
