Rosemary "Rosie" Williams peacefully passed away November 21, 2007, at Cottage Hospital after a two-year battle with leukemia.
She was born in Lakewood, Ohio, on December 7, 1945, the daughter of Charles A. and Colette R. Davis. Rosie graduated from Lompoc Senior High School in 1964 and was well known for her career of over 30 years with Bank of America.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 18 years, Jim Williams, daughter Stacy Villalobos and husband, Andy, of Lompoc, Shelly Jobst and husband, Pete, of Riner, VA, Brenda Williams of Pleasanton, Denise McCloskey and husband, Matt, of Lompoc, and son Daniel Williams, and wife, Rochelle, of Pismo Beach, CA. She will live on in the hearts of her grandchildren, the lights of her life, Andrew and Miranda Villalobos and Austin Jobst. Rosie is also survived by her sisters Kathy Whitney of Payson, UT, and Terri Davis of Lompoc, and nephew, Josh Whitney, of Payson, UT.
Rosie's favorite past time was spending time with her family and enjoying Sunday BBQs. She was a devoted wife, mother, "grammie," sister, and aunt, and will live on in all of our memories.
A celebration of Rosie's life will be held at the Village Country Club, 4300 Clubhouse Road in Lompoc. The service will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 29. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Adult Oncology Fund, Dept. 6 Central, Pueblo @ Bath, Santa Barbara, CA 93102.
