Roy McMurray Shacklett Jr.

Born May 27, 1937

Passed away peacefully Tuesday morning June 20, 2023, in Lompoc, CA.

He attended Isaac Litton High School in Nashville, TN, and graduated from

Baxter Seminary Baxter, TN. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1955 and served

through 1962. He worked as a supervisor at Training Aids Fabrication Shop,

building trainers for missiles through 1992. He was an avid rail fan. He was a

Master Mason, Shriner, Scottish Rite member, and Veteran. He was beloved by

his family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife Bettye Austin Shacklett of 58 years, and son Wm.

Roy Shacklett (Marie), daughter Karen Vivrettè Shacklett Albro (Dean),

grandchildren Cole Arthur Albro and Colby Madison Albro.

Graveside Services will be Monday, June 26, 2023, at 2:00 pm Lompoc Cemetery
