On March 9 2013, Roy Schupferling passed away with family at his side.
He was born in Hasbrook Heights New Jersey, November 27, 1933. Roy served in the Army in Fairbanks Alaska. He moved to Lompoc in 1960 and worked at Federal Electric for 35 years. He was a founding member of the Lompoc Model railroad club. He was also a member of the Orcutt American Legion.
He is survived by his wife Diane; five children; Scott, Keith, Mark, Tami Schupferling and Teri Huffer. 2 grandchildren Rissa and Jeremy Solano; 2 great-grandchildren Oliva and Alexis; step-daughter Catherine Harrington; step grandchildren Deborah and Rebekah He was proceeded in death by his parents Nicholas and Ella and his first wife Muriel; his step-son Robert Stagat.
Services to be held at Starbuck- Lind Mortuary 123 No A Street, Lompoc Ca. on Saturday at 11:00. California State Honor Guard will provide military Honors. American Legion Post #543 of Orcutt, California will be officiating. Reception will be held at 499 Mars Avenue, Lompoc following services.
