Obituary
Royal Hugh Nelson of Lompoc died Saturday, September 5, 2015, at the age of 67.
Roy was born December 21, 1947, in Macon, Georgia to Thomas and Ardella Nelson. He worked in property maintenance for the City of Santa Barbara for many years.
He is survived by his wife Gwendolyn Nelson of Georgia, his sister Minnie Davison of Lompoc, his sister Thelma Stevenson of Cincinnati, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The graveside funeral service will be Thursday, October 8, at 1pm at the Santa Barbara Cemetery. The memorial service will be Saturday, October 10, at 1pm, at Greater Hope Baptist Church, 430 Figueroa in Santa Barbara.
