Ruby May Hendrix of Lompoc died Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the age of 85.

Ruby was born July 27, 1938, in Bellingham, Washington to Wilbur and Tordis Gerry.  She graduated from Mount Baker High School in Deming, Washington.

Formerly of Maywood, California Ruby has been a resident of Lompoc since 1962.  She and her husband Frederick were members of the Lompoc Elks Lodge and Peace Lutheran Church where she was the church secretary for many years.  They also enjoyed square dancing.

In addition to her husband Frederick, Ruby is survived by her son David Hendrix of Palmdale, her son Mark Hendrix of Leesburg, Virginia, her daughter Lorie Eden of Lompoc, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
