Ruby Wynelle Williams died on January 31, 2013, from a stroke at Cottage hospital. Nell had lived in Lompoc for 27 years. She returned to Lompoc after the death of her husband, Donnie Williams in 1985. They lived in Morro Bay and Trinidad where she was a pastor's wife.
Services will be held on Thursday February 7, at First Southern Baptist Church, 1009 East Pine at 10:30 a.m. There will be a private interment in Morro Bay.
Nell was born on April 15, 1928 and raised on a farm in Mt. Calm, Texas. She had five siblings.
Nell had a strong love for her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church but also attend regularly New Life Ministries. Nell was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ in whom she put her faith. She had many close friends from her senior citizen's group in Lompoc.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin D. Williams, and her daughter Pamela Williams.
She is survived by a sister Ophelia Smith of Hubbard, Texas; and her children Frances Willden of Las Vegas, NV; Terry Ueckert of San Antonio, Texas; Don Williams and his wife Mary of New Bransfels, TX Debbie Gillette and her husband Chip of Fort Worth, Texas; Paul Williams and his wife Lori of Fresno, CA. She had 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
