RUTH "BETTY" WOOLSON
A memorial service for Ruth "Betty" Woolson, 79, of Lompoc, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
Betty was born August 12, 1929 in England. She was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed traveling and was fond of animals. Betty was known to be a very independent lady with a great sense of humor.
She died Friday, July 3, 2009 at Lompoc Valley Medical Center.
Survivors include her brother George Baker of Norfolk, England; nephews Thomas Woolson of Inglewood, Calif., and Pete Woolson of Avalon, Calif.; niece, Ruth Catlin of Fairfax, Calif., and other relatives
Memorials may be made in her name to Volunteers for Inter-Valley Animals (VIVA), P.O. Box 896, Lompoc 93438.
