Obituary

Sabina was born February 17, 1925 in Pangasinan, Philippines to Tomas and Tomasa Ulat. She was the eldest of seven siblings.

On April 8, 1955 she married Pedro Pascua, Sr. She came to the United States, proudly became a U.S. citizen and has resided in Lompoc since 1962. She was most recently a resident of Sunshine Residential II in Santa Maria, where she passed away from natural causes on January 29, 2015 at the age of 89. She was diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's in the past few years, but even though her mind was faded, she always had her true spirit, she always had a smile, and loved to sing her native songs.

Sabina was a housekeeper, a caretaker, and an employee at Bodger Seed Company. She loved to sew and garden, most notable had the loveliest roses and pink hydrangea in her impeccable front yard. She always had food on the table. She was a great cook and wanted everyone to have a good meal and a good laugh. She loved her family and was the glue that held us all together.

She is survived by her children, Sue Sweet (Gary), Pete (Sue), Tito (Precy), Dinah Forrester (Ken); her grandchildren Erin Sweet, and Schyler Forrester. She was preceded in death by her husband Pedro Pascua Sr. and her grandson Brian Sweet. We will miss her smile and her warm spirit. She was truly a special lady.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3 at 10 am at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary with a Scripture Service at 11 am. Interment will be at Lompoc Cemetery District.
