Salome Romero Echeverria, Jr. answered the Lord's call on January 9, 2013. Born on July 21, 1939 in Cucamonga, California. Salome is one of six children born to mother Ernestine Romero and father Salome J. Echeverria.
Salome grew to be an experienced and accomplished mechanic, honing his craft in several auto dealerships and garages throughout California. His knowledge and experience culminated in a successful auto repair business with partner and brother Danile R. Echeverria.
Salome is preceded in on his journey by mother Ernestine Romero, father Salome Echeverria, sister Irene Solorzano, brother Daniel R. Echeverria, and son Salome R. Echeverria III. Surviving siblings are Alex Echeverria of Maryland, Vincent Echeverria of Modesto, Dolores Felix of Lompoc, and Alice Fenning of Fremont.
Salome shared his life with wife of 57 years Edilia Echeverria of Lompoc and is remembered by children Elizabeth Telly (Jimmy Telly) of Tulare, Catherine J. Echeverria of Lompoc, Rebecca Echeverria-Cox (Jim Cox) of Lompoc, Laura Anello (Mark Anello) of San Jose, Lucia Gomez (Eric Gomez) of Visalia, and Martin Echeverria (Leona Echeverria) of Lompoc.
Salome's legacy continues in his 23 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
