Sandra was born in Del Rio, Texas, to Maria Emma Perez and Antonio Perez Jr. Sandra grew up in Lompoc, singing in the La Purisma children's choir and graduating from Lompoc High, where she got her cosmetology license.  She was a beautician for 45 years. Her creativity, from hair to arts and crafts, will be deeply missed. Music was always on her mind and playing on the radio. She played bunko with her bunko sisters for over 30 years. Her greatest joy was having her daughter, Amber.

She is preceded in death by her father, Antonio Perez Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Amber Overman, her mother, Amy Perez, her siblings Cindy, Paul, Geri, and Michael, and numerous nieces and nephews.
