On Monday, July 23, 2018, Seph McCarty passed away suddenly.

Seph was born April 1, 1981 in Glendale, California.  He moved to Lompoc in 1982.  He attended local schools and graduated from Maple High School in 1999.  He went on to receive AA and AS degrees from Allan Hancock Community College in Santa Maria, California.

He was a computer whiz and could build a computer from the ground up.  He enjoyed playing guitar and always had his cat "The Dude" nearby.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lydia and Jeffrey Bensen, his aunts, Patricia Dmytrow and Frances Morris and his father, Bobby McCarty.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
