Shannon Donaldson and her infant son, Vincent Adam Taylor, left this life and moved into eternal life and the presence of God on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at their home in Santa Maria. Our hearts are confident and our faith is full, that Shannon and Vincent are in the presence of God, experiencing grace, love and joy without limitations

Shannon was born February 22, 1985, to Fred and Sally Donaldson in Santa Maria. Shannon enjoyed her family and friends and her heart was filled with kindness and compassion towards all. He prized possessions were items that were connections to previous generations of her family. She enjoyed being creative, making cards and gifts for others, and cooking. She was easy going, but possessed a deep and profound wisdom, and would often upon by her peers to offer advice and counsel. She was educated in local schools graduating from Santa Maria High School in 2003. She graduated from Santa Maria Beauty College and was employed as a beautician in Santa Maria. She enjoyed sports and participating in soccer, water polo and basketball. She enjoyed family camping trips and being barefoot, as she did not particularly care for shoes. Shannons joy was in giving gifs to others and in spoiling her nieces and nephews.

Shannon is survived by a host of family and friends in Santa Maria, including her son, Andrew; her fiancé, Adam Taylor; Shannon's parents, grandparents, Richard and Doneitta Vertrees and Peter and Marlayna Ferini; her sisters, Jamie Nelson and Stephanie Federmann; nieces and nephews, Avery and Zeke Nelson and Payton and Kylie Federmann; and aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to mention.

Additionally Vincent's family includes his grandmother, Susie Taylor, of Santa Maria; grandparents, Robert and Mary Taylor, of Gretna, Nebraska; his aunt, Kaitlyn Taylor, of Santa Maria; great grandparents, Richard and Patricia Boster, of Palm Desert, and Robert and Elaine Taylor, of Beverly Hills, Florida; and numerous aunts and uncles.

. A celebration of life in memory of Shannon and Vincent was held at Pacific Christian Center on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at 10 am. The interment was in the Santa Maria Cemetery.

An account has been set up for a college fund for Shannon's son at Community Bank of Santa Maria, 1421 S Broadway, Santa Maria, Account #01319185. Arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary in Lompoc.
