Dr. Sheldon Lavon Gee of Lompoc passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the age of 79.
Sheldon was born February 26, 1934, in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Noma (Weeks) and Orville Gee. He graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City, and then graduated from the University of Utah before serving in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. After graduating from the Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City he did residency training in San Francisco. He moved to Lompoc in 1971, to become the pathologist at Lompoc Hospital where he worked for 25 years. He retired in 1996.
He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Sharon, and two sons, Brian Gee and Todd Gee. He also leaves step children, Sherry Stewart-Luskin, Steven Stewart, Scott Stewart and Stacy Stewart-Wagner.
A niche side gathering will be Friday, December 13, at 1pm at the columbarium of the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, directors.
