Sherree Linette Green was born to Jack and Gloria Pierce on September 26th, 1958 in Inglewood, California. She remained in Inglewood with her parents and siblings, Ray, Jack, and Renee until 1970, when she was 12. Sherree moved to lompoc with her mom and siblings where she participated in girl scouts and horseback riding. At the age of 13, she professed her choice to Christ at Buttonwillow convention through Elden Tenniswood. Sherree attended Lompoc High School, graduating in 1976. While in high school she was in the Kiwanas Club as a Kiwanaette. For a brief time, Sherree also attended Allan Hancock College. While working as Happy Steak as a waitress, she met the love of her life, Michael Green, Sherree and Michael married in 1986. Following their marriage they had 6 children, Leanard, Calvin, Dustin, Melissa, Megan, and Cierra. Sherree and Michael were happily married and raised their children together until Michael's death in January 2019. Sherree worked at Kmart for 5 years until it closed, then in she began working at Walmart as a cashier in 2003 where she was employed for 21 years until her passing. In 2020 and 2022, Sherree experienced the joy of becoming a grandmother and spent many rewarding hours interacting with her two grandchildren.

Sherree will be remembered and charished in so many ways. She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend....loving, caring and kind. She had a beautiful, warm smile and a heart to help anyone in need. She could be silly and fun-loving, enjoying Beatles songs and playing with her cats, that she adored. She was also very fond of her horse. Her impact on our lives was profound. All the moments we shared with her are precious to us, and she will be deeply missed. Sherree passed away peacefully May 18, 2024. She is preceeded in death by her father Jack Pierce, her brother Ray Pierce, and her husband, Michael Green. Sherree is survived by her 6 children; Leanard, Calvin, Dustin, Melissa, Megan, and Cierra, by her mother Gloria Pierce, her siblings, Jack Pierce and Renee Pollock, and her two grandchildren, Cason and Mila Salas.
