It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Spencer Brady.

Spencer was born in Mitchell, South Dakota to Helen Spencer Brady and Ezra Brady. Spencer attended school in Mitchell enjoying and excelling at sports. He went on to further his education attending Dakota Wesleyan University and Arizona State.

In 1968, Spencer moved to California where he worked for Johns Manville for 37 years. He joined Rancho Maria Gold Club enjoying many years playing golf. In 1972, he met his wife Patricia, and they raised three sons, Steven, Tracy, and Joseph. Spencer played many golf tournaments from Torrey Pines to Tahoe. He enjoyed playing golf with groups of friends from Rancho where they played tournaments at numerous hotels in Las Vegas. Spencer won the Thomas Mackie golf tournament at the Village Country Club in 1980.

Spencer is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia. He is also survived by his sons Tracy (wife Felicia), Joseph (wife Rose), his grandchildren Cory (wife Jessica), Robin (husband Kriss), Marissa (husband Jared), Kassy, Joshua, Kyle, Casey, Christopher, Dalia, Azalea, Matt, Xsavier, and great grandchildren, Frank, Evan, Caleb, Kaya, Isla, Warren, and Ruby.

He is preceded in death by Steven Tripp.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice who were so kind, thoughtful, and helpful in making his last days comfortable.

There will be a private family service at a later date.
