Obituary
Stephanie Helene Kazianka, 60, of Lompoc died on March 9, 2011 of unknown causes.
Stephanie was born in Upland, CA on August 8, 1950 and lived in Fresno until 1959; from 1959 to 1964 she lived with her family in Tehran, Iran where her father worked for USAID. Returning to San Clemente, CA, she graduated from San Clemente High School in 1968. She later moved to Milwaukee, WI with her first husband, Tom Benner where they had Michael and Katy. When she met her second husband, John, they had Adam and decided to move their family to California. John and Stephanie proceeded to not only raise their own children, but also take in special needs foster children; helping raise 56 children over nine years.
Stephanie dedicated her life to helping others. She spent 7 years as an instructional assistant in a special education classroom. Stephanie always had words of wisdom for others and had an open door policy for anyone who needed advice or help. She never turned anyone away, especially her children, in a time of need. Stephanie pushed her children try their hardest and never give up. She always told her family and friends, "God will never give you more than you can handle." May they find comfort in her own words at this time. Not only did she give in life, but she was able to give in death as well by saving three other lives through organ donation.
Stephanie is survived by her husband John, Son and Daughter-in-Law, Michael and Heather Benner, Daughter Katy Wallace, Son Adam Kazianka, Daughter Missy Kazianka, Son Derek Kazianka, Daughter Allie Kazianka, Daughter Kira Kazianka, Daughter Tess Kazianka, Son Christian Kazianka, Brothers Alex and Richard T. Jones, Step-mother Margaret Jones, Granddaughters Alex Fredsholm and Riley Wallace and Grandsons Colin and Nathaniel Benner.
A memorial service will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 @ 3pm.
