Obituary
Stephen R. Lane of Lompoc died Thursday, August 26, 2010, at the age of 27.
Stephen was born April 11, 1983 in Newport News, Virginia. His family moved from Beltsville, Maryland to settle in Lompoc in 1994. He graduated from Cabrillo High School with the class of 2001 having taken courses in automotive each of his years there. He completed courses at Allen Hancock College and was enrolled at Santa Barbara City College studying computer graphics and illustration.
Stephen had many friends he enjoyed hanging out with. He was an expert in sports and spent lots of time at the gym.
He is survived by his father John Lane of Lompoc, his mother Marie La Flamme of Lompoc, his brothers `George and Joseph Lane both of Lompoc, and friends too numerous to mention including Tyrone Gilmore of Lompoc.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Private inurnment will follow cremation.
