Steven T. Cupp of Lompoc died peacefully at home surrounded by his children Saturday, May 26, 2012, at the age of 65 after a long bout with ALS.
Steven was born July 7, 1946 in Hollywood, California to Victor and Jeanette Cupp. His family moved to Lompoc in 1960 where he attended Lompoc High School, graduating in 1964. He served in the US Army from 1966 to 1969. He was a maintenance supervisor at the Army Air Force Exchange at Vandenberg Air Force Base for more than 20 years.
Steven is survived by his son Chad (Beatriz) Cupp of Lompoc, daughter Stefanie (Michael) McClain of Lompoc, his brother David Cupp of San Diego, nine grandchildren, Mauricio, Mathew, Adrian, Yolanda, Alexes, Rea, Hannah, Chloe and Lilee, and one great granddaughter Holly. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tom Cupp in 2009.
The graveside service with full military honors will be on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at 11 am in the pavilion of the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery, led by Pastor Chuck Arnold.
