Sue was born August 27, 1941in Santa Barbara to Vaughn John and Marian Avis Keifer. She passed away at her home in Lompoc December 10, 2011. She attended Ellwood elementary, La Cumbre Jr. High and Santa Barbara High Schools.

Sue married Manuel Favela in 1959 and is survived by her six children Marcus Favela (Celia), Malisa Paz (Joaquin), Sara Jo Martin (Greg), Peter Favela(Sherri), Manuel Favela, Matthew Favela, and sister Judy Trujillo of Lompoc , and brothers, Reid, Paul, and Mark Keifer. Sue was also a proud Grandmother of 15 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Richard and Michael Wilson and sister, Janice Wenger.

She was very resourceful, compassionate, always putting others before herself and possessed a genuine love for her family. She had a quiet and deep faith in her God and knew that in her passing she would see her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was an avid gardener and always had a wonderful garden of flowers throughout the year, and a vegetable garden every summer.

Mom and Grandma, we will miss you greatly and you will live in our hearts and memories forever. We are comforted by the fact, we know you are with your Lord in heaven. Family and friends will have the opportunity to celebrate Sue's life on Tuesday, Dec 20, 2011 at the Lompoc Foursquare Church 125 North C St. Lompoc, CA at 10:00am.
