Obituary

Susan Lundberg Godden Dietrich,95, of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, died on April 2, 2014 at her residence. Sue was born in Lompoc on April 8, 1918.

She taught piano, was a church organist and choral director,community concert series founder, a member of PEO, a 60 year member of Eastern Star and founder/director of the Silver Bells choral group in Paso Robles. Sue played for many events up until just this last year.

A service will be held at the Lompoc Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 16. Family and friends are invited to gather for lunch at the River bottom in Lompoc, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. A donation in her memory may be made to: Hospice of Kona, P.O. Box 4130, Kailua Kona, Hawaii 96725.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Dietrich of Kailua Kona, a son Michael and wife RaeAnn Godden of Kealakekua, Hawaii, a daughter Janet and husband Al Cariss of Murietta, Calif, a daughter Virginia Madison, of Angels Camp, Calif., six grandchildren and one great grandson.
