Obituary
Sylvia Gonzales died Monday, October 8, 2007 at her home in Lompoc at the age of 84.
Sylvia was born May 23, 1923 to Braulio and Cipriana Baca in Concho, Arizona. She was raised in Arizona and in Grants, New Mexico. Formerly of Silver Springs, Nevada she has been a resident of Lompoc since 2005.
A lifelong homemaker, Sylvia loved to camp and travel. She attended La Purissima Catholic Church.
Sylvia is survived by her children and their spouses Marian and Leo Aragon of Lompoc, Amy and Tom Van Dalinda of Silver Springs, Nevada, and Victor, Jr. and Luz Gonzales of Carlsbad. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
The evening vigil will be on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 5 pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary led by Father John Fitzgerald. Cremation will be followed by inurnment in Flagstaff, Arizona. Arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
