Teresa Teri Ainsworth, born Weidenfeller, is survived by her children, Vanessia and Tony. Teri grew up in California and enjoyed a happy, fulfilling life. She devoted herself to raising her children, whom she loved deeply, always ensuring they were cared for and supported.

In her later years, Teri shared a joyful chapter of life with her husband, Gene Ainsworth, a former Marine and passionate deep-sea diver. Together, they settled in beautiful Santa Barbara County, where they shared a love of the ocean, often walking along the beach or snorkeling together. Their home was filled with laughter, whether spending time in the pool or enjoying each other's company. Gene's humor and stories from his diving and Marine days always brought her joy.

Teri had a deep love for animals, who were true members of her family. She shared her home with six dogs—a standard poodle, a miniature poodle, a Maltipoo, and three pugs—a cat, a guinea pig, a hermit crab, and, at one time, two chickens. She cared for each with devotion and joy.

Her garden was full of life, with avocado and lemon trees, Australian ferns, tomato plants, and other fruit trees. Teri's careful attention made everything thrive, and she delighted in nurturing it.

Exceptionally skilled and resourceful, Teri could fix, build, or improve almost anything around the house. Professionally, she was a certified bookkeeper. In her personal time, Teri pursued her love of writing, completing 400 pages of a memoir exploring her family roots.

She will be fondly remembered as a devoted, giving mother, loving wife, and extraordinary woman, and will be missed dearly by her children, Vanessia and Tony, and by all who knew her loving spirit.
