Mr. Terrance Lamar Davis was born on August 24, 1976 at Vandenberg AFB, Lompoc, California to Jesse and Nona Davis. He attended Fillmore Elementary School, Lompoc Valley Middle School, and he graduated from Lompoc High School in 1995. While at Lompoc High School, he participated in football (#5), where he won awards for weight lifting, and participated in track and field. Terrance was always ready for a pickup basketball game and well known for shooting pool.
After high school graduation, he attended Whittier College where he also played football. Upon leaving Whittier College, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served for seven years. He specialized in Communications, Radar, and Microwave systems. Bases where he served were: Korea, Langley AFB (Virginia), Iraq and Kyrgyzstan. While at Langley AFB he met and married his wife, Sharelle Davis and to this union their three children were born.
Upon being honorably discharged from the United States Air Force, he was employed by Indyne Inc. from July 2004 to April 2015. He then transitioned into his current position at RG Next as a Radar Technician from April 2015 until the time of his passing. His life came full circle from being born on Vandenberg AFB to being employed at the very same base until his passing.
He leaves to mourn his passing; his wife, Sharelle Davis and three children; Devin Davis (son), Kaleb Davis (son), Naiyah Davis (daughter); parents, Jesse and Nona Davis; siblings, Corlon Davis (Buena Park), Eliot (Janice) Davis (Lompoc), Lei-Andrea (Adrian) Banks (Rapid City, SD), a special sister-in-law, Michele Davis (Buena Park), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11am, Crossroads Community Church, 412 North B Street, Lompoc with a viewing at 10 am. Repass will follow internment at St. James Baptist Church, 222 North I Street, Lompoc.
