On March 22, 2022, Terry Mowery passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love after a lengthy and valiant battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Terry was born September 15, 1944, in Martinsburg, West Virginia to Harry and Beulah Mowery. He was a proud Navy veteran, having served from 1961-1967 and then moved to Lompoc, California.

He worked for ITT, then L-3 Communications for a total of 42 years. Terry was active in the American Legion Vandenberg Post 125 for many years and was a past commander.

Family was very important to Terry, and he was blessed with a large loving family. Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Mowery, his father, Harry Mowery, his twin brother, Larry Mowery, his brother, Donald Mowery, his sister, Dorothy Spring, his sister, Carol Harbaugh, and his niece, Diane Spring.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Helen Mowery, son, Robert Mowery (Dana), daughter, Alyssa Hallberg (Dan), daughter, Kimberly Zink (Walter), brother, Stephen Mowery (Doris), brother, Jack Mowery (Bev), seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
