Timothy H. Billips of Lompoc died Saturday, January 9, 2010, at the age of 55.
Timothy was born December 18, 1954, in Pomona to James and Mary Anne Billips. Raised and educated in Pomona and Chino, he graduated from Herbert Bailey High School in San Bernardino with the class of 1973.
Formerly of Carlsbad, Timothy has been a resident of Lompoc since 1978. He worked with Comcast Cable Vision until 1993 and as an electrician in Lompoc for the last 10 years. He loved to play pool and ride his motorcycle. He was a member of the Park Side congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Timothy is survived by his son Jason Billips of Lompoc, daughter Chelsea Billips of Santa Maria, father James Billips of La Verne, mother Mary Anne Stuart of Spokane, Washington, sister Cheryl Whitacker of Paris, and sister Kathleen Adams of Mission, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Billips in 2008.
The memorial service will be on Saturday, January 16, at 1:30 pm in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 705 North Forth Street in Lompoc. Cremation will be followed by private inurnment. The arrangements are in the care of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. starbucklind.com
