IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Timothy "Tim"
Levash
July 20, 1984 – March 20, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy "Tim" Joseph Levash, age 40, on March 20, 2025. Born on July 20, 1984, in Lompoc, California, Tim was a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. A man of boundless giving, curiosity and passion for what he loved, he brought joy to everyone around him with his vibrant personality and unforgettable sense of humor; he touched the lives of all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Gregory Levash and Elizabeth Weir, and his siblings: Chris Levash, Matt Levash (Anna), Kim Oropeza (Cisco), Amanda Villalobos (Mario), Jacob Brooks, Haley Weir, his loyal companion Jackson and girlfriend Lisa. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends who will miss his kind giving spirit.
Tim was a true lover of the outdoors, always at peace with a fishing rod in his hand or a campfire crackling nearby. He spent countless hours immersed in nature, whether he was fishing, camping, exploring the wilderness, or simply enjoying the stillness by a quiet lake. His love for adventure was only matched by his enthusiasm for the tools of his trade. Whether it was working on cars, tinkering with computers or helping others with their home projects, Tim could do it all.
But what truly made him unforgettable was his sense of humor. He had an uncanny ability to make anyone laugh, whether with a perfectly timed joke, a wild story, or just his quirky antics. His humor was contagious, and he had a way of making even the toughest days feel lighter. There was never a dull moment with him around- whether he was impersonating a character, cracking a one-liner, or pulling off an elaborate prank, Tim could always be counted on to make everyone smile, often at his own expense. His wit, charm, and irreverence made him a constant source of light and laughter.
His musical soul found expression through the drums, where he shared his rhythmic energy with those lucky enough to hear his beats. Music was his heartbeat, and the sounds he produced with his drums echoed the passion he had for life. He often said, "Music and nature are the two things that always bring me peace."
An avid enthusiast of firearms and the outdoors, Tim was skilled in the art of hunting and marksmanship, always respectful of the traditions he cherished. He was a protector at heart, and his love for the outdoors was intertwined with a deep sense of responsibility toward the world around him.
Tim will forever be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, trusted companion and friend who could always be counted on. Tim's legacy will live on in the memories of the fishing trips, the songs that played on his drum set, the vehicles/numerous projects he fixed for others, the computers he built/fixed, and the peaceful yet fun moments spent by the water.
In honor of his life, a memorial service BBQ to celebrate Tim's life will be held at River Park in Lompoc, Ca on Saturday May 10, 2025, from 11am to 5pm. The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring his memory. Feel free to bring a favorite dish to share and your fishing poles if you'd like to throw a cast out for him!
Rest in peace, Tim. You will be missed more than words can express, and your spirit will forever be with us in the sound of the drums, the whisper of the wind through the trees, in the blue screen of death, and the calm of the open waters.
