Services for Toni D. Fringer, 59, of Santa Maria and former longtime resident of Lompoc, will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor John Reil of Peace Lutheran Church officiating.

Toni was born April 20, 1949 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Anthon and Dorothy West Berry. She moved to Lompoc in 1966 from Nebraska and graduated from Lompoc High in 1967. Toni had worked as a supervisor at Medtronics in Goleta for several years, and had moved to Santa Maria recently. Her favorite pastimes included camping, going to the casino, home decorating and enjoyed her brand new Cadillac. Toni loved to associate with people, and all that knew and loved her will miss her.

She died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Richard Velasquez of Santa Maria; mother, Dorothy Berry of Lompoc, son, Ricky Fringer of Lompoc; sisters, Connie Berry of Agoura Hills, Calif., Kathy Hopkins of South Carolina, and Carol Berry of Lompoc; brothers, Rodney Berry of Orcutt and Darrell Berry of Lompoc; grandson, Evan Bedford; and nieces and nephews

Visitation hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2009 at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary
