Tony was born on February 28, 1960, in Brownfield, Texas to Hermon and Sally Day.

Tony was the youngest of 10 children. He is preceded in death by his parents Hermon and Sally Day, brothers Jack Day and Hoyt Day, Sisters, Joyce Fagan and Roxie Barron, brother-in-law Randy Bray, nephews Jack Fagan and Gary Bray.

Tony moved to Lompoc, Ca with his family in 1970, at the age of 10, where he lived and raised his family. He made Lompoc his home for the remainder of his life.

Tony leaves behind his loving wife of 24 years, Debra and sons Jesse and Luke; sisters Linda Bray, Sue Wilson, Nedra Hudson (John), Kathy Smith (Mike) and brother Andy Day (Jeannie); sister-in-law Marla Day and brother-in-law Doug Barron, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Tony was an adventurous, comical, strong and brave soul. He took his family and work relationships seriously, going all out but keeping his cards close. Tony would befriend anyone, and stray animals would end up as part of his family.

Tony had no filters and at times would say things to shock even his family that were closest to him.

Tony enjoyed walks on the beach with his wife and much-loved pets, playing softball, and other outdoor activities. He was looking forward to family camping trips when he retired.

Tony loved watching football and barbecuing on Sundays with his boys.

Tony was an electrician who worked on projects from San Jose to Santa Barbara, California.

A longtime member of Local 413, Tony loved his fellow union members. His work ethic, knowledge, and ability to get the job done has been demonstrated in his many completed projects in the local area.

Tony will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 12 pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
