REV. TYRONE G. EDGERTON, SR.
1942-2008
Tyrone Gusdave Edgerton, Sr., age 65 of Lompoc, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008. He was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on August 28, 1942 to Fred and Tonieda Edgerton.
He worked for the Kellogg Company for over 32 years as a Maintenance Foreman. He was also a Reverend and on the board of elders with Morris Cerullo World Evangelism for 25 years. He was an Eagle Scout, Scoutmaster, and Royal Rangers Scoutmaster. He also enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing.
He is survived by his daughter Suzanne Bobeck of Pennsylvania, daughter Charlene Ragali, stepson Shiloh Gramm and his wife Chrystal, stepson Israel Gramm, granddaughters Ashley Grace Edgerton and Jordyn Needham, and the Ragali grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Karen Edgerton, and his son, Tyrone Edgerton, Jr.
A niche side service with military honors provided by the United States Army will take place at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery Columbarium on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Todd Lugli of The Well to officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Lompoc branch of Coast Hills Federal Credit Union to help with funeral expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
