Mrs. Crespin was born December 1, 1949 in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Bishop Diego High School in Santa Barbara, CA as Valedictorian of her class in 1967. She went on to Immaculate Heart College in Los Angeles graduating Magnum Cum Laude in 1971. She moved to San Luis O'Bispo, CA to attend graduate school at Cal Poly where she obtained her teaching credentials and did work toward her master's degree. She taught 8th grade at St. Helen's for several years.

She married her husband Patrick Crespin in 1977 and settled in Lompoc, CA where she spent the majority of her life. She was a devout Catholic. She attended church at La Purisima where she taught religious education classes, and served in various chruch positions throughout her life.

She died Saturday, May 3rd after a lengthy battle fighting breast cancer. She is preceded in death by her father Clyde Holley in 1974; her mother Florence Holley in 1989; her sister Mary Woods in 2022, and her siser Florence Holley in 2024. She is survived by her sister, Cecilia Holley of Lompoc and her loving husband, Patrick Crespin of Lompoc; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

A rosary for Veronica H. Crespin, 75 of Lompoc, will be said at 6 p.m. Sunday June 1st at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday June 2nd at La Purisima Church. Private interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach.
