Born Veronica Price Humphries, January 29, 1939, in Tetbury, Gloucestershire England to Sybil Frances Ellen Humphries.  Veronica had one sister Ellen, two brothers Bob and Tony.  She attended school in Suffolk England.

Veronica met the love of her life Jackie Dale Waugh in Bury St Edmunds, where they married in 1957.  They started their life in Felixstowe that journey later sent them to Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, Bitburg Germany, Goldsboro North Carolina and Lompoc California.

While stationed in Goldsboro North Carolina they were blessed with a daughter Susan.  During Jackie's remote tour to Thailand, Veronica and her daughter Susan spent a year in Felixstowe, England with her mother Sybil.  When Jackie returned stateside, they were sent to Vandenberg AFB where they settled in and were blessed with another daughter Lynnette.

Veronica worked at Garden Crafters and retired from Solvang Lutheran Home.  Upon their retirement they remained in Lompoc.

Veronica is survived by Husband Jackie Waugh, daughter Susan Merkert, daughter Lynnette Waugh, son-in-law Thomas Merkert and sister-in-law Lori Webb-Carroll.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 15, at 10am in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.  Interment will follow in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
