Victoria Ann "Vicki" Vega-Ostler passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, at the age of 60.

Born on March 21, 1966, in Lompoc, California, to Socorro Vega and Anna Vega, Vicki spent her life in the community she loved. There, she built a life with her husband, Steve Ostler, and together they raised Vicki’s three children: Vanessa Terrones, Melissa Terrones, and Luciano Terrones.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents and beloved brothers, Salvador Vega, Richard Vega, and Robert Vega. She is survived by her sisters, Elinor Brigman (David Brigman) and Adele Vargas (Donald Ramirez), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.

Her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Amery (Vanessa Terrones); Haley, Mason, Iunitus, and Viktoria (Melissa Terrones); and Isabella, Emma, Genie, and James (Luciano Terrones).

Vicki will be remembered for her quick wit, and ability to make everyone around her laugh. She loved sharing stories, spending time with the people she loved, and enjoying a tall can of Coors Light with family and friends. Her laughter, honesty, and unforgettable spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 11 am at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
