Obituary
Virginia R. Hood of Lompoc died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at the age of 82.
Virginia was born September 25, 1927 in Brainerd, Minnesota. A resident of Lompoc since 1966, she worked as an administrative assistant for Aerospace Corporation for 37 years. Virginia was a member of the Pacific Christian Center in Santa Maria.
Virginia is survived by her brother Donald Schaller of Long Prairie, Minnesota, a niece Kathy Iverson of Santa Maria, and a nephew Kenneth L. Schaller of Edina, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Hood in 1994, and her sister Violet Lancaster in 2008.
The visitation will be on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, from 4-7pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 1:30pm also at the mortuary. The interment will be in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the 4Gideon Bible Society, or Teen Challenge, 6790 North Ventura Avenue, Ventura, CA 93001.
