Virginia Bermudez Morales

May 23, 1942-February 26, 2025

Virginia "Virgie" Bermudez Morales was a lifelong resident of Lompoc. She was born on May 23, 1942, and passed away at the age of 82 on February 26, 2025.

She is survived by her brother Rick Morales. She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Maria Morales, brothers, Ysidro, Merced, Raymond, Pete, Lupe, Alfonso, and Bobby Morales.

Virgie was a very loving and devoted daughter in caring for both of her parents before their passing.

She was employed by Bodger Seeds for 40 plus years. She enjoyed her work making many friends over the years, sharing stories, exchanging recipes, and listening to music with her co-workers.

After retirement, she spent most of her time with the upkeep of maintaining the landscape of the family home that she proudly took pride in knowing all the hard work with creativity put in around the house by her brother Pete.

She enjoyed watching the LA Lakers and the Dodgers with her brothers. She was also a big fan of the Lompoc Braves football games at Huyck Stadium.

Virgie did not have any children of her own but always enjoyed spending time with her nephews and nieces leaving them with fond memories of her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at the Lompoc Cemetery on April 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
