Obituary
Wanda J. Terry, 64, of Lompoc, California passed away August 31, 2011 at the Sherman Oaks Hospital in Sherman Oaks, California. Wanda was born on May 3, 1947 to Warfield and Louise (Norris) Terry in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Wanda loved music, was a great artist and loved children. She was a second mother to her nephews and nieces and was affectionately known as "Mamie" by them. She began working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at age 18 and continued in that career for 38 years until she moved to Lompoc in 2003.
She is survived by her mother, Louise Norris of Lompoc, her brother, James Terry of Redlands, California, her sister, Doris Appelhans of Topeka, Kansas, and her brother, Chuck Terry of Lompoc, California.
A private service is being held by the family in her honor. Arrangements are in the care of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. www.starbucklind.com
