William H. Hoffeld of Lompoc passed away on October 14, 2010, at the age of 70.
William was born on November 15, 1939, in Baltimore, Maryland to Calvin Bauer Hoffeld Sr. and Delores Angelos Hoffeld. He graduated from high school and joined the Air Force at 18 years of age. He stayed in the service for 20 years. He then worked for Ford Aero Space for many years and traveled all over the United States and Europe. He owned Black Ghost pet store in Lompoc for ten years.
He is survived by his wife Marina B. Hoffeld of Guam, daughter Claudia Stetz of Lompoc, his five grandchildren from Claudia are Emily and Joseph, which are twins and Christopher Stetz, Sierra Stetz and Cheryl Rehn. Also from a previous marriage a son Erich Hoffeld of Post Falls, Idaho and two grandchildren Hunter and Lauren Hoffeld son William Hoffeld and a son Calvin F. Hoffeld of Lompoc. He survived by his brother Calvin B. Hoffeld Jr. of Owings Mills, Maryland, a brother J. Gary Hoffeld of Owings Mills, Maryland and a sister Geraldine C. Roach of Peoria, Arizona. In addition, he has a lot of nieces and nephews that will always remember him and miss him very much.
A memorial service will be held at the Lompoc Foursquare Church on October 28, 2010 at 10:00 am.
