William Malcomson died peacefully at Lompoc Hospital on March 27, 2007 surrounded by his family.

Born in 1924 in Dublin. Ireland, he was educated in England and served as a captain in the Royal Engineers. He practiced as a civil engineer and architect in Dublin for many years and also farmed in the hills ofWicklow. In 1989 he moved with his wife Valerie to live in the beautiful Jalama Valley.

William is survived by his sister Eveleen Luce and her family in Ireland, his daughter Sally with husband Bob and their daugher Katie in California. and his son Philip with wife Dorali and their sons William. Matthew. and Pablo in England. He will be missed by many friends in Ireland and California.

Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers. donations may be made to the Lompoc Hospital Foundation.
