Wilma Jeanette (Armstrong) Roberts
October 30, 1929 – May 15, 2015

Willie, as her family and friends called her, was born to Lawrence and Ruth Armstrong on October 30, 1929 in Lompoc, CA where she lived most of her life. She worked hard raising her family and at the Rice Bowl for 15 years. There she met and enjoyed many friends, always having a smile and hug for those she cared about. In her retirement, she took pleasure in gardening and collecting old bottles and tins. She especially enjoyed being with family and in the company of friends. Our precious treasure, our blessing. She went home to her Lords loving arms on May 15, 2015 at the age of 85, with her family by her side.

She is survived by her siblings Bill (Mary Lou) Armstrong, Jim (Cheryl) Armstrong, Margie (Eldon) House and Betty (Richard) Gist; her children Pamela (Stephen) Bonham, Randolph (Dana) Roberts and Paula Mc Clure; nine grandchildren: Justin, Shawna, Randy, Andy, Christopher and Ryan Roberts, Amber (Ryan) Lopez, Adam (Jessica) Mc Clure, Aimee Mc Clure. She also is survived by her nine great-grandchildren Christina and Naomi Campbell, Danika and Tatum Rentschler, Naomi and Josh Lopez, Aidan and Payton Mc Clure and Mia Chavez. She also has two great-great grandchildren Kaylee and Cassie Campbell. She also leaves behind her lifelong friend and sister-in-law Betty Sue Cuthbert and numerous nieces and nephews.

Willie was preceded in death by her brother Lawrence (Dorcielle) Armstrong, and her eldest son Richard H. Roberts Jr.

Services will be held on Thursday May 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. Pastor Doug Conley will be officiating. There will be a reception following at the New Life Christian Center 816 North C St. Lompoc.
