Wintford Leslie Bazzell, Jr., "Dick", unexpectedly passed away on November 25, 2021. He was 69 years old.

After serving honorably in the USAF, Dick spent most of his career working at VAFB as a Telemetry Specialist for various aerospace companies. He was close to his family and enjoyed visiting his much-loved mother and siblings at his childhood home in Florida. An avid rockhound, he was a long-time board member of the Orcutt Mineral Society. He loved to play poker and barbecue with friends. Most days you could find him outside, basking in the sun, cruising on his bicycle, polishing stones, and cultivating his vegetable and flower garden.

He was a great motivational speaker and patient teacher, and always willing to help a friend. A wonderful provider and Father, anyone who knew him could not deny his knowledge, wisdom, or lust for life. May he rest in peace with God's unfathomable love.

Dick Bazzell is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna Bazzell and his beloved son, Alex Bazzell. He is also survived by his mother Helen Bazzell and sister Karen Bazzell, brothers Gary (Nina) Bazzell, Keith (Kristen) Bazzell, eight nephews and nieces, and six grand nephews and nieces.
