Yolanda Muli, 52, of Lompoc passed away peacefully on July 7, 2012 in her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 10, 1959 as the youngest daughter of Celedonia Cruz and Jaime Sarabia. In 1984, she moved to Guam where she married her husband, Federico Muli, and gave birth to her two children. In Guam, she spent most of her working life as a Financial Manager, described as being very meticulous and hard-working, but still making time for her family.
In 2008, she eventually moved to Lompoc to continue her cancer treatment/maintenance. Regardless of her disposition, she kept a positive attitude and immediately became deeply involved with the Queen of Angels church: providing a helping hand, support for her friends/family, and inspiration with her unwavering faith. One of her favorite songs is "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong and she loved flowers very much: bright-colored roses and orchids in particular. Her main concern in life was making sure that her children were taken care of and prepared to face the world without her. We, especially her children, will always remember the courage, strong will, unconditional love, and faith in God that she had throughout her life.
Yolanda is survived by her children, Christian and Christine, her brother, Rolando Sarabia, her sister, Remedios Huelar, their spouses, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her parents, Celedonia Cruz and Jaime Sarabia.
A Funeral Ceremony will be held at Queen of Angels church, 3495 Rucker Road Lompoc, at 10 A.M. on July 13, 2012. Immediately following will be a Burial Service at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. There will be a small reception at the Queen of Angels social hall afterwards.
